Honestly, I made this website because I had to for a course I’m taking at MTSU.
I really don’t like talking about myself. I’d rather listen to you, ask questions about you, and understand who you are. But since this is an About page, I will share a little of my story. I was married for many years, and now I’m a single mom doing all the things as I finish raising my last two children.
I have always made up stories and have been writing them down since I learned how letters, pencils, and paper worked together to bring them from my imagination onto the page.
As a kid, I made up poems and songs. I still make up songs about all kinds of things, mostly my cat, and sing them to her. My kids think it’s ridiculous, but they do it too. I think lots of people probably make up songs because it’s fun, and why not?
I feel like writing is a gift that was given to me, and it’s something I can use to give to others.
I would love to make someone laugh, help them feel a little better about life, or encourage them to take that next step forward.
